Incline Marketing provides digital marketing solutions for multiple Insight Pest franchise locations across the United States in the areas of SEO, Google Ads, and Local Service Ads Management. This case study focuses on the Local SEO solution that Incline Marketing provides for the Insight Pest Northwest locations.
The Problem
Insight Pest Control was a very successful door-to-door sales company that had little in the way of online presence. Although their 4 Google My Business listings had hundreds of legitimate 5-star reviews, their listings were not ranking in the Map Pack in search results for popular keywords. Thus, Insight Pest was rarely receiving phone calls or online leads from their minimal digital marketing efforts. Due to their seasonal business (pest control demand in their area really peaks in the summer months), Incline Marketing was tasked with improving Insight Pest's rankings in time for their demand spike to provide maximum value for the client.
The Solution
Incline Marketing began with a custom site rebuild that was separate from the corporate-controlled site. This new site featured over 15,000 words of new, SEO-optimized content and a site structure that was supportive of multiple locations and Google My Business listings. After the site was complete, Incline Marketing scanned and fixed business listings across the web for all locations, as well as acquired local backlinks for each individual location. Sitewide and location-specific schema were implemented on each website page, and backlink efforts continued over the course of several months. Many other proprietary SEO initiatives were also done during this time.

The Results
Based on Incline Marketing’s approach, Insight Pest Control experienced superior results. Since account takeover in January 2019, Incline Marketing delivered a total of 5,034 phone call leads and 5,856 clicks to the 4 Google My Business listings. This accounts for a 1,350% increase and a 1,138% increase year-over-year, respectively. As of the time of this writing, Insight Pest Control ranks top 3 organically for all predetermined keywords.
